Rodryck Dolan (18 Eleint 1385 DR – Highharvestide 1447 DR) was the second ruler of the Kingdom of Men. He was responsible for the Church of Pelor becoming the state religion.

Early Life

Born in Reegate, Rodryck was the first son of Ryker Dolan, hero of the Morning Crusade and first ruler of the newly-established Kingdom of Men. He was tutored inside Cardye Tower and received a first-rate education. Upon the death of his father in 1392 DR, young Rodryck was mentored by the Regent, Matias Solms, and his father's trusted companions, Adsalor Silverfrond and Hamnraeg Dimhelm.

In 1396 DR, Grant Hobbes, one of Rodryck's advisors, convinced him to adopt the Church of Pelor as the state religion of the Kingdom. Rodryck agreed to make this his first official act after his coronation.

Upon reaching the age of twenty, he was crowned King.

Royal Activities

In addition to establishing the state religion, Rodryck pushed for Reegate to be an educational center of the Kingdom. He paid to have colleges established in the city and began building an impressive library.
