The Calendar of Harptos is the calendar used in Omelon. It is split into twelve months, each lasting thirty days (or three tendays), with an additional five days falling between months. The year begins with Hammer and ends with Nightal.

In Omelon, dates are written in "day month" format. For example, 15 Alturiak.

Months and Festivals

  1. Hammer (or "Deepwinter)
    • Midwinter occurs between 30 Hammer and 1 Alturiak.
  2. Alturiak [pronounced awl-TUR-ee-æk] (or "The Claw of Winter")
  3. Ches (or "The Claw of Sunsets")
  4. Tarsakh [pronounced TAR-sæk] (or "The Claw of Storms")
    • Greengrass occurs between 30 Tarsakh and 1 Mirtul.
  5. Mirtul [pronounced MUR-tuhl] (or "The Melting")
  6. Kythorn [pronounced KIGH-thorn] (or "The Time of Flowers")
  7. Flamerule (or "Summertide")
    • Midsummer occurs between 30 Flamerule and 1 Eleasis.
    • Shieldmeet occurs the day after Midsummer, once every four years.
  8. Eleasis [pronounced eh-LEE-sis] (or "Highsun")
  9. Eleint [pronounced eh-LAYNT] (or "The Fading")
  10. Marpenoth (or "Leaffall")
  11. Uktar (or "The Rotting")
  12. Nightal (or "The Drawing Dawn")
