Doctor Petyr Ravenmore lived in the town of Yahill with his young daughter, Kendra, in a modest home to the south of town.
Career
Ravenmore was a professor at the University of Reegate and, as a scholar, Petyr had used his knowledge and research to learn about the forces of evil to better combat them. He had particularly studied the Order of Obsidian as a local Omelonian force for evil.
Death
Doctor Ravenmore was murdered in 1491 DR by agents of the Order of Obsidian, led by the necromancer Sylas Longwhistle, when he caught them in the act of stealing the soul of Leon Harkan from the ruins of Dowsalt Prison. Ravenmore had been researching the occult organization for some time and had known they were up to no good in his town. Longwhistle made sure Ravenmore looked like he had suffered an accidental death.
His death brought together the members of the Dawn Guard for the first time.
